Sinopsis Drama Korea A Korean Odyssey
Drama “Hwayugi” menceritakan sebuah cerita dari novel klasik China yang di tafsirkan kembali ceritanya hingga hari ini dan akan ada perpaduan kisah fantasi dan juga romantis. Pada tahun 2017, Son O-Gong dan King Wooma (Cha Seung-Won) saling bertentangan satu sama lain dan mereka mencari cahaya sejati di dunia yang gelap dimana kejahatan terjadi di mana-mana.
Di sisi lain sebenarya Son O-Gong memang memiliki kekuatan khusus dan dia unggul dalam seni bela diri/ berkelahi. Dia melakukan kesalahan besar di Surga yang menyebabkan dia ditendang keluar dan dikirim ke Bumi. Selai dengan Raja Wooma Dia juga terlibat dengan Jin Sun-Mi (Oh Yeon-Seo), mereka memulai sebuah perjalanan untuk menyingkirkan iblis yang mengganggu dunia ini.
